for your interest in Home Grown Organic Foods home delivery service of
organic produce and natural foods. There is no better way to pave the road to
a healthier future that is good for you, good for community and good for the Earth.

This is how it works:
We purchase our produce, groceries and dairy goods in bulk
from organic farmers' cooperatives, distributors and
individual farmers. Most of our supplies are certified organic,
following a stringent set of standards as outlined by the certification body
responsible for the certification of individual producers. Click

Our main delivery day is on Saturday
from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Alternatively, you may choose to receive a mid-week delivery
between 7:00pm and 9:00pm on Wednesday evening (Halifax residents only). After
you sign up for a onetime, lifetime membership of $25.00, you will be eligible to receive a
box of fresh, organic produce on a weekly, bi-monthly, monthly or special basis.
If you don’t need the box on a given week, just call or send us an e-mail
at least 48 hours prior to the time of your delivery and we will be happy to
reschedule your next delivery.

The weekly
food boxes are available in four different sizes including single, double,
family and clan. In addition, we have recently added the Dogma box which
contains a variety of fruits and vegetables that are 100% local year round.

To accomodate various palettes we request that
you inform us of any fruit or vegetable allergies / dislikes / preferences so that
our sorters can do the best job possible tailoring your food box to meet your needs.

Custom ordering is now available. In
the shopping area, you will find a complete listing of all the produce items
that are currently available. You may select items from this list to include
with your order. Custom orders under $50.00 will demand a 5 dollar delivery
charge. There is no extra cost for pick-ups.

In addition
to our fruit and vegetable boxes, we also offer a wide range of
organic groceries, fresh-baked bread, home made pizza, fresh prepared soups, a number
of tofu products, organic dairy products, desserts and more. To search for your

With each delivery, you also receive
a newsletter containing pertinent recipes, nutritional information, weekly
gardening tips, storage hints and more. In addition, community gatherings,
public discussions and special events are updated on our website each week.
As always, community feedback is always welcome, so please feel free to share your thoughts at
any time.

We accept
cash, check or Visa. We require payment in advance or upon
delivery. We ask for a credit card number as security and if a
box is left without payment or agreement thereof, we will
automatically charge it.
|
In order to
respond to all of your questions, our database has been designed
to easily update customer order requests to avoid delivery
errors, as much as possible. If for any reason you wish to speak with a 'real person',

As with all
things in nature, nothing is absolute. Here at Home Grown Organic
Foods, we aim to deliver with complete customer satisfaction
guaranteed. So if for any reason, you are not completely
satisfied with the service that you are receiving, please contact
us and we will do our best to look after your concerns.
