ORGANIC Blueberries, wild
A traditional food and medicine of native Americans for thousands of years; these sweet, ready to eat fruit grow in the wild throughout North Eastern America. The wild blueberry is recognized and sought after by health conscious consumers all over the world.

These particular blueberries originate from a field presently in the process of becoming certified organic. More exactly, from Swallow Road Field Y1 near Tatamagouche, and as per field records, the only spray applied to this years crop was compost tea. A small area was treated with vinegar. In 2002, no chemical or fertilizer was used on this field. To ensure the integrity of the berries, processing lines of all other berries were cleared and completely cleaned prior to processing. Additionally, the berries have been segregated in the cold storage facilities as not to break the chain of custody.
